We have decided to offer our 12 acre farm for sale due to wanting to retire from farming. I will still vend and teach classes but not have the sheep and rabbits anymore.
The farm has a 1935 rock school house built by the Civilian Conversation Corps and is located in the south central Ozarks of Missouri. Our real estate taxes last year were only $219.90 for the whole year. The home has two bedrooms and two baths, central propane and air with a Hardy outside wood burning furnace that also heats the hot water. The twelve acres is set up for sheep with a nice stocked pond. We are surrounded by woods and pastures, The kitchen needs updating, but is very liveable as is. We are located 6/10 mile on a semi private road through the woods not far from the famous Eleven point river for swimming and fishing. Peace and quiet for retirement or retreat. The kitchen and utility/bath has been added on as a frame addition and we added a mud room and deck several years ago. New roof in 2004 for the main structure and 2014 for the addition. Several large portable buildings and a 22×48 greenhouse structure used for a sheep barn are included. Lots of Black Walnut trees.
I would be interested in working out a deal for the registered Shetland and Border Leicester sheep to go with the farm and the Angora rabbits too.
If you need anymore information, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are asking $87,500.00 for the house and 12 acres.
